Wembley Park Medical Centre - The New Wembley Park GP Practice!
With the population of Wembley Park growing, it has been recognised that Wembley Park Medical Centre's building was no longer fit for purpose. The original practice was established in the 1970s, and no longer had the required space to deliver all the services they wished.
Wembley Park Medical Centre is delighted to announce that they will be moving to large, modern premises in Spring 2024 in Wembley Park!
The new location will be 2 Humphry Repton Lane, Wembley, HA9 0GL
The New Wembley Park GP Practice
Moving to purpose-designed premises provides many benefits to patients and staff, some of which are listed below.
- Increasing the number of clinical rooms they have from 12 to 19 (15 consultation rooms and 4 treatment rooms).
- Assist them in their aspiration to become a large training practice for a number of clinicians.
- Room availability for other services such as First Contact Physiotherapists, Clinical Pharmacists and Physician Associates.
- Enable them to provide more face-to-face appointments.
- Better access for disabled patients with premises meeting current Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) regulations and a section of the reception desk at wheelchair height.
- A separate office where all incoming calls from patients will be taken instead of them being taken at reception to maintain better patient confidentiality.
- A private room for patients to have conversations with reception staff away from the reception desk if it is requested or required.
- A group meeting room to host patient consultation groups, giving the opportunity to meet more easily in person.
- Better working conditions supporting retention and recruitment of staff.
