A Bank Holiday Weekend for Kids at Wembley Park
Wembley Park is the only place to be this Bank Holiday weekend to keep everyone happy, especially the kids.
Sometimes, it can be really difficult to keep the kids entertained, especially over a Bank Holiday weekend. However, THIS weekend at Wembley Park you can take advantage of the many activities that are on offer at Wembley Park, adults are welcome to join in too!
Flag Making And Illustrations For Kids –
Wembley Park be offering free drop-in classes for children and young people to get involved in flag making and illustrations. These courses are taught in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere and all tools and materials will be provided. Following their competition the flags will be displayed across Wembley Park in September 2018 as part of a large scale public art project. However, you will leave with your beautiful designs and illustrations from the session as well as a heap of new skills and ideas for the future.
The classes will be held on August 26 & 27 from 2PM – 5PM, drop ins are welcome.
Marawa’s Majorettes –
If the kids are struggling to stay still then you definitely need to let them come and try their hips at Hula Hooping at Wembley Park on Sunday, August 27.
Look out for the cheetah-print bodysuits and get involved with some serious girl power entertainment and gravity-defying, circus-worthy routines as Marawa’s Majorettes teach your little ones the skills behind spinning multiple hoops at once!
LDO & The Playground –
With all the hype around the flag making and hula hooping it’s easy to forget about the incredible shops at the LDO and The Playground. Maybe you could take the kids shopping at Claire’s, The Works, Haribo or Hamleys? If that doesn’t hold their attention for long, try out The Playground with all the kids favourites including slides, merry-go-round and rolling hills.
Take Them To The Movies –
When all the running is done, all the arts and crafts packed away and the hula hoops have been retired, it’s time for the cinema.
Cineworld Wembley Park is showing a both Disney’s Christopher Robin and The Incredibles 2 over the Bank Holiday Weekend. So grab some popcorn and settle in for an enjoyable time at the movies.
