New month, New Yellow…

The new neon light at the Yellow in Wembley Park

Today Is the day!

Wembley Park’s community centre, The Yellow, has officially opened its doors to the public – YAY!

The brand-new, permanent premises –  with extensive facilities across two floor over 390 square metres of activity space – can be found at 1 Humphry Repton Lane, only a short walk from the previous location.


It includes floor-to-ceiling windows, a shared kitchen for cooking classes and community supper clubs, meeting rooms with TVs and media players, performance studios with high-tech PA systems and theatre lighting, fully furnished breakout spaces and fibre optic Wi-Fi throughout. Fitness enthusiasts will benefit from sports vinyl flooring on the main Mezzanine area and over £20,000 worth of brand-new sporting equipment, which includes a mini parkour pop-up gym.

The programme for The Yellow offers a broad spectrum of free and subsidised activities for all ages on a weekly basis including:

  • Yoga
  • Fitness classes
  • Cooking Classes
  • Parkour
  • London Youth Rowing club
  • Parent & toddler groups
  • Dance classes

Not forgetting our monthly and occasional events such pensioners’ coffee clubs, Open Mic nights and many many more!
