THEN you’ll get the chance to show them off in the parade! Just head to The Corner with your family. Get crafty. And then be in the parade!
GRAB SOME FOOD TO FUEL YOUR NIGHT
Hungry bellies? We’ve got you covered. Fuel your families night at one of the many delicious places in Wembley Park. If you want to stay in the action, head to Market Square where we have a plethora of street food vendors especially for Light Up the Night. From curry to pizza, chips to bratwurst, they have it all. If you fancy more of a chill out, sit down meal then we have that too. For family favourites, head to London Designer Outlet where you can find high-street staples such as Prezzo, Pizza Express, TGI Friday’s and Nandos. If you want to try something new, head to Boxpark Wembley where their social seating and world cuisine means there is something for everyone. And if you and your family are pasta lovers (because who isn’t?!), you HAVE to try the newly-opened Pasta Remoli on Market Square. Their plethora of pasta, sauce and cheese combos will please even the pickiest of eaters. Make sure you check out our guide of the best Pasta Remoli combo’s for every occasion here.
LET OFF SOME STEAM IN THE ALL WEATHER PLAY PARK
If your little ones are half as pumped as we are, they’re going to need to let off a little steam. And lucky for you we have the PERFECT place. Let them and their adventurous side run wild in our all-weather play park opposite LDO. Climbing frames, slides, roundabouts, swings, seesaws. It has it all.
GET IN THE MOOD AT BOXPARK WEMBLEY
Want to start the celebrations early? Of course you do! Boxpark Wembley is the perfect place to take your family for a little pre-event fun. Head there from 2PM to start the festivities early with Dhol players and dancers, henna artists and Bollywood screenings. They even have a super special visit from THE GLAMAVAN. Yes it’s the perfect chance for your littles ones (and you!) to get face painted and glittered up.
HAVE EVEN MORE FUN AT LONDON DESIGNER OUTLET
Oh yes, the whole neighbourhood is going to be a party for your family! From 4:30PM you can start the fiesta with their super fun entertainment and dance along to their Dhol drummers. If you don’t want the fun to ever end (who does!), head their after as most of their restaurants are open until 10:30PM to feed those peckish bellies. If you’re down early enough (or want a post-fireworks chill) head to Cineworld and you can catch one of the latest blockbusters.
VISIT THE HARIBO STORE
Whilst you’re at London Designer Outlet you HAVE to visit the Haribo outlet store. The first in England, the Haribo outlet store is any child’s (and lets face it, adults) DREAM store. With pick n mix, exclusive ranges and everything else in between, it’s a must go if you want to treat your family.
CATCH THE PARADE TOGETHER
One of the ultimate highlights of the night – the light and lantern parade. Full of live performances, intricate costumes, illuminated puppets, fascinating dancers and carnival-esque vibes, it’s a real wow-moment. The ultimate jaw dropper? The Fire Bird. The stalking, bending, pecking and rearing beautiful puppet will mesmerize all ages. You’re going to love it! The parade starts at 6PM.
WATCH THE FIREWORKS – DUH!
The reason you came – make sure you and all your family check out the fireworks! From 7PM the sky will come alive with our biggest and best fireworks display yet. It’s the perfect way to end your night of non-stop celebrations. The spectator’s area is in Yellow Car Park, so head their early to nab the best spot. Once it’s full you can stand elsewhere, but we can’t promise the same kind of views!
