For me jewellery is like mini wearable sculptures for the body, I want to create pieces that are wearable for real women.
I was creative from a young age, always painting, getting dressed up for little dance performances, and putting together make-shift accessories from what I could find around the house.
I studied textiles for my degree and then went on to do a Masters in Fashion Artefact at London College of Fashion where I created really conceptual pieces. I actually love creating large sculptural pieces, for catwalks and fashion editorials. It gives me a real buzz!
I begin my mornings by choosing music to start the day off just right. As all our pieces are handcrafted in our studio, some days we stumble on new techniques which is always exciting! I like having a fun and vibrant atmosphere in the studio!
For me Wembley Park is up and coming, inspiring, but more importantly home. I’m getting to fulfil my lifelong dream through my work and my hope is that I can continuee to grow the business from strength to strength. One of the highlights of my work was winning The Future of Fashion Competition, through NOT JUST A LABEL, to show my collections in Paris.
